Oct. 1 Launches Simon’s Employee Contribution Campaign and #poweroforange
the time you read this blog, a student will have dropped out of high school. Abused. Bullied. Homeless. Battling a
life-threatening disease. Working full-time to support their families. These
are just a few of the incredibly difficult life situations many students across
our nation face – and among the many reasons students drop out of high school.
Across the U.S., 8,300 students drop of out school every day. That’s 8,300 too many!

will be achieved.
Throughout the month of October, SPG
employees show their dedication and commitment to the future success of SYF
through its Employee Contribution Campaign (ECC) to support Simon Youth
Foundation. Led by volunteer campaign chair David Contis, President of Simon
Malls, this year’s campaign goal is set at $450,000. This partnership and
significant fundraising campaign is vital to the future success of SYF.

reaches its goal of $450,000, that’s 450 students SYF and SPG will help
graduate. Each contributor to ECC ignites hope in at-risk students today and
