Tomorrow is National Power of Orange Day

In honor of SYF’s 15th anniversary,
10,000 graduates and the more than $10 million awarded in student
scholarships, tomorrow, 10/15, has been declared National SPG Power of Orange
Day by David Contis, SPG’s Employee Contribution Campaign chairperson.
To celebrate, SPG employees are going casual for
a good cause by wearing jeans and orange spirit attire on what is now deemed a
national celebration of SYF. So, if you’re shopping at one of the Simon malls
nationwide or visiting one of the 23 SYF Academies, you may see a lot of
orange.
You
can go orange too! Show your Power of Orange: wear orange or SYF gear and post
your pictures. Tag #poweroforange, post your pride
on Facebook and Twitter and post your picture on Instagram. #poweroforange,
@Simon_Youth, #ignitehope
In Indianapolis, you’ll see that the fountain
outside of its Indianapolis headquarters is orange – and will continue to flow
orange throughout the month of October. Tomorrow night, the Indianapolis Power
& Light building will display orange lights in celebration of SYF –
everyone and everything is ignited by the #poweroforange.
