Graduation

The impact of the pandemic continued to be felt throughout the 2021-2022 academic year.  While some Academies saw a return to some normality when it came to graduation ceremonies, other Academies had to cancel their ceremonies for a second year. Academies that were able to have ceremonies arranged for them to be staged in open air areas with masks and social distancing.  For the first time in two years, SYF staff was able to travel to graduation ceremonies to celebrate our scholars.

SYF is proud to have celebrated with our 2,196 graduates from the 2021-2022 academic year.  Students persisted through the pandemic and 93% of our anticipated graduates walked across the stage after earning their diplomas.  These remarkable students increased the number of SYF graduates to 26,048 since the inception of the Foundation.
