SYF is fortunate to have long standing donors and supports that give in big ways year over year, by participating in the annual fundraising events. In 2023 SYF welcomed new donors and supports who gave at various levels to help elevate the mission. Annual events include Simon Property Group Regional Fundraisers, and two outdoor events, Tees for Education Golf Outing and SYF Founders Celebration.

Summer Events
SYF’s Summer Events were a blast, both Tees for Education Golf Outing and Founders Celebration were held. Both events were hosted in one weekend continuing to connect these events providing national and event sponsors the ability to combine travel and participate in both events.
Tees for Education
SYF’s 16th Annual Tees for Education Golf Outing, was held on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Pebble Brook Golf Club. It was a day full of fun and friendly competition. New and returning sponsors demonstrated their unwavering support on and off the course – the event generated $78,984.
Founders Celebration
SYF returned to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, on Saturday, August 12th, 2023, for the Annual Founders Celebration. A special day met SYF National and Founders sponsors with an event infused with one of Indy’s most significant sports, racing. Guests enjoyed the various activities hosted at the track during the Brickyard 200 weekend events, including INDYCAR and NASCAR. The day allowed sponsors to connect with students, educators, Simon executives and directors while celebrating the life-changing accomplishments of Simon Youth Foundation. Together these sponsors contributed more than $107,000.
Individual Giving
Individual contributors are vital supporters of the foundation helping students in their efforts to reach graduation day! Through the SYF National Educator Conference Circle of Hope campaign, the Simon Youth Academy Network, raised more than $8,000 with the participation of 44 SYF teachers and Academy leaders. Hundreds of new donors mirrored their generosity to SYF in 2023, each of whom played a critical role in SYF’s ability to continue to serve students nationwide.
Employee Contribution Campaign
Simon employees continue to give of their time, talent, and treasure. Last year was no exception, they gave big by contributing $435,590 to support students in their efforts to reach graduation day and volunteered numerous hours in various ways throughout the year.
