Fueling the Mission: Donors and Partnerships
At SYF, every milestone we achieve is made possible by the generosity of donors, partners, and supporters who believe that all students deserve the chance to graduate and pursue a brighter future.
Whether through corporate sponsorships, in-kind support, individual contributions, or volunteerism, these investments directly support our core programs, including scholarships, capacity-building grants, and experiential learning. Every gift, every hour volunteered, and every act of generosity strengthens our ability to meet students where they are and help them succeed.
In 2024, donor and partner support empowered SYF to expand its reach and deepen its impact:
- $374,772 raised by Simon employees through the Employee Contribution Campaign
- $262,000+ in-kind donations, helping reduce costs and maximize program funding
- $135,080 raised through the Founders Day Celebration
- $87,718 raised during the 17th Annual Tees for Education Golf Outing
- $13,000+ raised by 112 educators and individual donors through the Circle of Hope campaign
Champions for Education
Our national sponsors play a critical role in sustaining SYF’s work year-round. In recognition of their generosity, we are proud to honor our 2024 Champions for Education. Each gift, whether $5,000 or $75,000, represents a powerful investment in student success.
Summer Events: Celebrating Community
SYF’s Summer Events were a blast, both Tees for Education Golf Outing and Founders Celebration were held. Both events were hosted in one weekend continuing to connect these events providing national and event sponsors the ability to combine travel and participate in both events.
Tees for Education
On July 19 more than 200 golfers gathered at Pebble Brook Golf Club for a day of connection, friendly competition, and purpose. The annual Tees for Education Golf Outing brought together sponsors and Academy students, who teed off, side-by-side, sharing stories and building meaningful relationships. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, the event raised $87,718.
Founders Celebration
The next day, on Saturday, July 20, SYF hosted its annual Founders Day Celebration at one of Indianapolis’ most iconic venues, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Held during the Brickyard 400 race weekend, this event welcomed board members, donors, Simon executives, educators, and students for a behind-the-scenes experience. With exclusive access to qualifying races, trackside experiences, and the opportunity to connect with the people their generosity supports, guests celebrated the transformative power of education while raising $135,080 to support SYF programs.
In-Kind Giving
In-kind contributions totaling more than $262,000 allowed SYF to stretch its resources and minimize operational costs, ensuring that more funds reached the programs that help students graduate and prepare for life beyond high school. From donated services to supplies and venue access, these gifts played a vital role in advancing our mission.
Individual Giving
Circle of Hope
In the weeks leading up to the National Educators Conference, 112 educators and supporters joined our Circle of Hope campaign, raising more than $13,000. Their contributions helped ensure that students had access to the resources and support they needed to thrive in and beyond the classroom.
Employee Contribution Campaign
Simon employees continue to be among our most dedicated and generous supporters. In 2024, their collective efforts through the Employee Contribution Campaign, raised an extraordinary $374,772 to support SYF.
These contributions provided direct support for scholarships, capacity-building grants, and experiential learning opportunities. But their impact went beyond financial giving. Simon team members also donated countless hours volunteering with students, supporting Academy events, and serving as ambassadors for SYF’s mission in their local communities. The passion and generosity of Simon employees are woven into every success story, and we are deeply grateful for their continued support.
