The inaugural Putting for Education event at Puttshack – Edina in Minneapolis, MN brought the Midwest region together in a big way, raising $75,750 for Simon Youth Foundation.
Led by SPG Mall Manager and Event Chair Judy Tullius, with support from RVP Dewayne Herbert, the event featured participation from Albertville Premium Outlets, Empire Mall, Miller Hill Mall, Southdale Mall, and Twin Cities Premium Outlets.
Generously backed by Title Sponsor CoBeck Construction and 31 additional sponsors, the evening delivered a high-energy, purpose-driven experience. Guests enjoyed the tech-infused mini-golf atmosphere, connecting over friendly competition, united by a mission to create more pathways to education.

South 1 – Atlanta, GA

The 2025 Tee Off for Education Golf Outing at Chateau Elan Golf Club in Braselton, GA was a tremendous success, raising $152,545 in support of Simon Youth Foundation. This marks the most successful South 1 Atlanta regional event to date and reflects the deep commitment of the participating mall teams and partners.
Organized by SPG Mall Manager and Event Chair Adrienne Hood, with the support of Regional Vice President Brian Nelson, this year’s event brought together 13 South 1 Atlanta mall teams including Lenox Square, Phipps Plaza, Concord Mills, Haywood Mall, SouthPark Mall, Mall of Georgia, Sugarloaf Mills, North Georgia Premium Outlets, Calhoun Outlet Marketplace, Carolina Premium Outlets, Charlotte Premium Outlets, West Town Mall, and Gaffney Outlet Marketplace.
The outing followed a significant milestone for SYF—the Georgia Academy Graduations, where the Foundation proudly celebrated its 30,000th graduate. That excitement carried onto the green, creating an inspiring atmosphere fueled by purpose and celebration.
Chateau Elan’s charming course served as the perfect setting for a day of camaraderie, competition, and philanthropy. The event was powered by the generous support of Presenting Sponsor Vantix Electric and 42 additional sponsors, whose contributions played a crucial role in advancing SYF’s mission to help students reach graduation day and beyond.
South 1 – Miami

The 16th Annual South 1 Miami Regional Event, Home Run for Education, brought energy and excitement to LoanDepot park with the Miami Marlins, raising $138,055 for Simon Youth Foundation.
Led by SPG Mall Manager Dailen Rodriguez and SPG Director of Marketing & Business Development Lourdes Rodriguez, with support from RVP Brian Nelson, the event united South 1 Miami mall teams: Coconut Point, Coral Square, Dadeland Mall, The Falls, Miami International Mall, Sawgrass Mills, Florida Keys Outlet Center, and Town Center at Boca Raton.
Backed by top sponsors BRC Construction Services, Omega KBL Services, and Upchurch—along with 50 additional supporters—the event offered a dynamic and festive stadium atmosphere. Guests enjoyed on-field access, ballpark bites, and plenty of team spirit, all in support of helping students reach graduation day.

The 16th Annual Mid-Atlantic Philadelphia Regional Event, Putt Together for Education, teed up a fun and impactful evening at Puttshack – Philadelphia, raising $129,720 for Simon Youth Foundation.
Led by SPG Mall Managers Caitlin Perrone and Colleen Ansbach with support from RVP Denise Ipsen, the event brought together ten mall teams from across the region, including King of Prussia, Lehigh Valley, Oxford Valley, The Crossings, Gloucester PO, Jackson PO, Jersey Shore PO, Philadelphia PO, Quaker Bridge, and Philadelphia Mills.
Top sponsors Steamfitters Local 420 and Swan Asphalt & Concrete Company, along with 31 additional sponsors, helped power the event’s success. The atmosphere was lively and upbeat, with guests enjoying tech-infused mini-golf, great food, and shared purpose—supporting students on their path to graduation.
Central – Indianapolis, IN

The Central Region kicked off its partnership with SYF’s Annual Summer Events Weekend by co-hosting a two-day celebration that brought supporters together for both the Tees for Education Golf Outing and the Founders Celebration. Together, Central Region raised $113,612 for SYF.
Led by Event Chair Danielle Parker, with support from RVP Rob Courtney, the gatherings united teams from Cincinnati Premium Outlets, College Mall, The Fashion Mall at Keystone, Greenwood Park Mall, Tippecanoe Mall, University Park Mall, White Oaks Mall, Briarwood Mall, Chicago Premium Outlets, Orland Square, and Woodfield Mall.
With 69 generous sponsors—including top partners Above & Beyond Service Company, Nu-Tec Roofing, and Total Flooring Contractors—the weekend delivered two dynamic experiences, from a lively day on the course to an unforgettable evening inside one of racing’s most storied venues. Over 350 guests took part, making this one of the region’s most well-attended and spirited events to date.

The Northeast Region delivered a memorable night at CitiField for the annual Baseball for Education event, raising an extraordinary $409,490—the second-highest total ever achieved in the history of this event. Held alongside the New York Mets, the evening celebrated community, generosity, and the power of education in a setting filled with excitement and hometown spirit.
Event Co-Chairs Mathew Boals and David Mistretta, along with RVPs Brian Hanson and Denise Ipsen, brought together mall teams from across the region, including Dover Mall, The Mills at Jersey Gardens, Menlo Park, Newport Centre, Rockaway Townsquare, Roosevelt Field, Walt Whitman Shops, Smith Haven Mall, The Shops at Riverside, The Westchester, and Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.
The event welcomed more than 500 guests, all energized by the electric ballpark atmosphere and united by a shared purpose. With 131 supporting sponsors, including leading partners Davis Technologies Group, North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters, General Building Laborers Local #66, and the E.I.B. LMCC Fund, the evening reflected an inspiring level of regional engagement.
A highlight of the night was the on-field presentation, where SYF was honored with a special spirit award, an acknowledgment of the community’s longstanding commitment to helping students reach their goals.

The Mid-Atlantic region set sail for an unforgettable evening on the Potomac River during this year’s Cruise for a Cause, raising $95,171 in support of Simon Youth Foundation. Hosted aboard City Cruises, the event blended stunning views with heartfelt purpose as guests enjoyed a memorable journey past Washington, D.C.’s most celebrated landmarks.
Event Co-Chairs Jennifer Snitselaar, Todd Jerscheid, and Wendy Ellis, along with RVP Mel Palencia, welcomed mall teams from Apple Blossom Mall, Arundel Mills, Clarksburg Premium Outlets, Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, Hagerstown Premium Outlets, Leesburg Premium Outlets, Potomac Mills, Norfolk Premium Outlets, St. Charles Towne Center, and Williamsburg Premium Outlets.

The New England region gathered in high spirits at TopGolf Boston – Canton for this year’s Swing for Success event, raising an outstanding $196,167 for Simon Youth Foundation. The evening’s lively energy and generous support highlighted the community’s passion for helping students achieve their educational goals.
Event Co-Chairs Carolyn Edwards and Steffan Brown, alongside RVP Justin Feldhouse, brought together mall teams from across the region, including Auburn Mall, Burlington Mall, Cape Cod Mall, Clinton Premium Outlets, Copley Place, Kittery Premium Outlets, Lee Premium Outlets, Liberty Tree Mall, Mall at Rockingham Park, The Mall of New Hampshire, Merrimack Premium Outlets, Northshore Mall, Pheasant Lane Mall, The Shops at Chestnut Hill, South Shore Plaza, Square One Mall, and Wrentham Village Premium Outlets.
The event was powered by 104 sponsors, with leading support from All-Pro Electric, Schindler Elevator Corporation, and Sunshine Paving Corporation. Guests filled the bays with friendly competition and connection, but one of the most meaningful moments came when 2024 Academy Scholarship recipient Isaac Ortiz shared his story. The inaugural Tee Off for Education event in Seattle made a memorable debut at TopGolf Renton, raising $41,762 for Simon Youth Foundation and bringing together a passionate community of supporters for an energizing afternoon of giving.
Led by Event Co-Chairs Jeannine Hall and Christian Faltenberger, with support from RVP Kelly Hartsell, the event welcomed mall teams from Tacoma Mall, Northgate, Columbia Center, Seattle Premium Outlets, and Woodburn Premium Outlets.
Backed by 15 dedicated sponsors, including presenting partner Deacon Construction, LLC, attendees enjoyed a welcoming and relaxed program featuring a BBQ lunch, cocktails, golf play, networking opportunities, and spirited participation in both the silent auction and raffle.

Set against the backdrop of an Orlando Magic preseason matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans, the event offered a one-of-a-kind blend of sports, community, and purpose.
Event Co-Chairs Valerie Beaubrun, Lorena Garcia, and Athena Jancaitis, with RVP Jamal Porter, welcomed mall teams from Florida Mall, The Avenues, Ellenton Premium Outlets, Orlando International Premium Outlets, Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets, St. Augustine Premium Outlets, St. Johns Town Center, Tampa Premium Outlets, and Tyrone Square.
Guests watched the game from the exclusive Jernigan’s Club Level Restaurant, where they enjoyed an upscale dining experience featuring local flavors and exceptional views overlooking the arena floor.

Hosted on Opening Day of the famed Bing Crosby Season, the event offered guests a vibrant, high-profile experience as the kickoff to Del Mar’s fall meet and a prelude to the 2025 Breeders’ Cup World Championships.
Event Chair Marc Smith and Co-Chairs Nina Kiefer and Thien Nguyen, along with RVP Dewayne Herbert, welcomed mall teams from Brea Mall, Camarillo Premium Outlets, Del Amo Fashion Center, Desert Hills Premium Outlets, Fashion Valley, Las Americas Premium Outlets, Ontario Mills, The Outlets at Orange, Pismo Premium Outlets, and The Shops at Mission Viejo.
