Partnerships allow SYF to leverage our relationships with other high-quality institutions and organizations to the benefit of our Academies and educators. Recently, the Indianapolis Recorder wrote about the partnership between SYF and Marian University’s Fred S. Klipsch Educator’s College. One part of our partnership provides tuition discounts to SYF Academy staff and educators as they work toward licensure or a graduate degree in education. Idowu Ikudabo, Principal of McKinley Alternative School in Kokomo, Indiana is an SYF educator pursuing his doctorate at Marian University. Idu, as he is known to his friends, stated, “The professors and staff at Marian are knowledgeable and caring. I’m becoming a better educator because of my experience and opportunities provided to me through Marian University”.
